GRADE II MANOR HOUSE
A Grade II listed building which has been the family home since 1908. Originally a timber framed building with parts of the building dating back as far back as 1498. Situated within 7 acres of grounds the curtains and upholstery had suffered from sun damage and age in this stunning traditionally Elizabethan property and our brief was to enhance the beauty which was there rather than transform.
Work included creating handmade curtains, loose covers and scatter cushions using our fabric matching service to match in to original fabrics in place in the drawing room.
Testimonial:
“Katharine Ellen Designs are wonderful people to work with. They came highly recommended to us and always go the extra mile in sourcing fabric matches, a service which was particularly important for our project. Her workmanship is second to none, with her attention to detail, efficiency of service and professionalism. We are delighted with our curtains and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any friends in the future”
